►   Are Copic inks waterproof and acid free?
Copic Markers and Copic Sketch use a dye suspended in alcohol. When the alcohol evaporates, the remaining colour is acid free, and will not wash away. The alcohol base also means the markers will not damage the paper surface.

►   What's the difference between Copic Markers and Copic Sketch?
Copic Markers have a broad chisel nib and a fine nib, whilst Copic Sketch have a super-brush nib and a medium broad nib. Copic Markers also hold slightly more ink than Sketch.

►   Are Copics Refillable?
Both Copic Markers and Copic Sketch can be refilled with Various Inks, in the original colour of the marker. With replacement nibs available, you never have to throw one away.
Instructions on refilling can be found here.

What do the colour codes mean?
The letters on the colour code refer to the colour group:
B=Blue, BG=Blue Green, BV=Blue Violet, G=Green, YG=Yellow Green, Y=Yellow, YR=Yellow Red, R=Red, RV=Red Violet, V=Violet, E=Earth, C=Cool Gray, N=Neutral Gray, T=Toner Gray, W=Warm Gray

The numbers show how light or dark, and how much gray there is, in a given colour.
The first number is the saturation or vibrancy of the colour (0 very vibrant, 9 dull), and the last number is how light the marker is within that group.

For example RV01 will be a vibrant, light red violet, RV05 would be vibrant but darker red violet, whilst RV09 would be a much darker version of the same colour group, suitable as a shadow.

See the colour chart for a full range of colours available.

How much freight do you charge for a Copic order?
If you are ordering individual Copic Markers, Sketch markers, refill inks, or any combination of these, we will charge a flat $5.00 freight fee Australia wide, regardless of quantity. This will be added to your order at the time we process it. Unfortunately we are unable to fulfil Copic orders for delivery outside Australia and it's territories.
Should you require courier delivery (charged at our normal rates), you can select this from our normal freight tables to add to your order. Courier delivery is available in 3kg or 5kg satchels. As a guide, markers weigh approximately 100g, and refill inks 200g.

If you are ordering a book item at the same time as markers or refill inks, just select the type of freight you require for the book item - we won't charge any extra for the Copic items.

Copic sets, wallets, airbrush components, paper pads and other bulky items will be charged at book rates per item. If you order one marker set and one wallet, the freight will be charged at the same rate as two book items. Any individual markers/inks included in the order will not be charged extra.

What if you don't have the colour I need in-stock?
Whilst we aim to have the majority of colours available at all times, we may sell out from time to time. We usually have out- of-stock items back in-store within several days of selling out.

If we are unable to supply any portion of your order, we will contact you before shipping your order. You will have the option of waiting for your order to be completed then shipped, shipping in-stock items immediately and cancelling any back-ordered items, or cancelling the entire order.
